Urban Microalgae-Based Protein Production
At A*STAR SIFBI, we are advancing ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ as a core capability for sustainable biomanufacturing. Our "Urban Microalgae-Based Protein Production" project in ๒๒๒ฝอ๘exemplifies this, demonstrating how robust ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ can yield high-quality, nutrient-rich microalgae biomass.
Developed in collaboration with the (SEC) and (NUS), this technology turns microalgae into delicious, nutritious food ingredients and products. We have successfully scaled production to a 200-liter pilot facility and are eager to partner with innovators to create the next wave of sustainable ingredients for food and consumer care products, enhancing global sustainability efforts and food resilience.
