At A*STAR SIFBI, we are advancing ๐—ฏ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ป๐—ผ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ด๐˜† as a core capability for sustainable biomanufacturing. Our "Urban Microalgae-Based Protein Production" project in ๒๒๒ฝอ๘exemplifies this, demonstrating how robust ๐—ฏ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ can yield high-quality, nutrient-rich microalgae biomass.

Developed in collaboration with the (SEC) and (NUS), this technology turns microalgae into delicious, nutritious food ingredients and products. We have successfully scaled production to a 200-liter pilot facility and are eager to partner with innovators to create the next wave of sustainable ingredients for food and consumer care products, enhancing global sustainability efforts and food resilience.
