About the Programme

This two-day AI-Enabled Manufacturing Leadership for Transformation Programme is a stackable, two-module programme that integrates A*STAR’s Strategies for Digital and Sustainable Manufacturing Transformation and Digital Leadership in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into a comprehensive learning journey. It is designed to equip professionals with the capabilities to design, lead and scale AI-enabled transformation across people, processes, data and enterprise systems.

Through applied learning, exposure to emerging technologies and structured leadership reflection, participants will learn to drive a holistic transformation roadmap, align stakeholders for value capture and realisation, and build enterprise readiness for effective implementation.

Pre-Requisites

  • Applicants should possess a degree in any discipline or a diploma with a minimum of 3 years of related working experience.
  • Applicants who do not have the required academic qualifications are still welcome to apply, but shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview for special approval.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

The full course fee for this course is $1,500 before funding and prevailing GST.

Long Term Visit Pass Plus (LTVP+) Holders

  • The LTVP+ scheme applies to lawful foreign spouses of òòò½ÍøCitizens with (i) at least one òòò½ÍøCitizen child or are expecting one from the marriage, or at least three years of marriage, and (ii) where the òòò½ÍøCitizen sponsor is able to support the family.
  •  All LTVP+ holders can be identified with their green visit pass cards, with the word ‘PLUS’ printed on the back of the card.

Enhanced Training Support For Small & Medium Enterprise (SMES) Scheme (ETSS)

  • The ¹ is for company-sponsored participants who are subject to the eligibility criteria shown below:

SMEs that meet all of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million

SME-sponsored Trainees:

  • Must be òòò½ÍøCitizens or òòò½ÍøPermanent Residents.
  • Courses have to be fully paid for by the employer.
  • Trainee is not a full-time national serviceman. 

Further Info: This scheme is intended for all organisations, including non-business entities not registered with ACRA e.g. VWOs, societies, etc. Only ministries, statutory boards, and other government agencies are NOT eligible under Enhanced Training Support for SMEs Scheme. Sole proprietorships which meet all of the above criteria are also eligible.

SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES)

  • The ² is meant for employer-sponsored and self-sponsored òòò½ÍøCitizens aged 40 years old and above.

SkillsFuture Credit

  • All Singaporeans aged 25 years old and above are eligible for  , which can be used to offset course fees (for self-sponsored registrations only).

Dr Roland Lim

Dr Roland Lim has strong expertise in operations management, manufacturing & supply chain strategy, and productivity planning & implementation. His industry experience has enabled him to gain extensive knowledge of the best practices and solutions to tackle various business challenges. He holds an EngD in Industrial Engineering, and MSc & BEng in Engineering.

Mr Toh Ming Hon

Mr Toh Ming Hon is a Senior Consultant, who specialises in business transformation. He has helped numerous companies to innovate their business models and achieve more than 100% productivity gain using digital technologies. He holds a BEng (Hons.) in Electronic Engineering and a MBA.

Mr Ma Bin

Mr Ma Bin has over 30 years of experience in software engineering, operations management and business transformation. His work accolades include the A*STAR STAR Employee Award 2014, the A*STAR Borderless Award and the Ministry of Transport’s Merit Award 2010. He holds a BEng in Computer Software and an MTech in Knowledge Engineering. He is an experienced Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) certified trainer and certified Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) Assessor.

Mr Aloysious Lee is the Section Manager of the Digital Manufacturing Division with A*STAR SIMTech. He has over 12 years of experience in manufacturing operations management and digital innovation with wide-ranging industries. His research and industry work areas include Supply Chain Risk Management, Planning and Scheduling, Inventory Management, Learning Management/Transfer and Learning Factory Concepts.

Ms Clara Tang

Ms Clara Tang is a Senior Research Engineer in the Manufacturing Knowledge Systems Group. She leads the Agentic Dashboard & Applications team, which integrates Agentic and Generative AI into real-time manufacturing dashboards to enhance operational intelligence. She also spearheads the AI Enablement Journey in collaboration with leading technology partners, where A*STAR works alongside best-in-class providers to deliver hands-on AI workshops and training programmes tailored to different stakeholders in the manufacturing industry. Her research focuses on advancing user interaction with next-generation AI, developing dynamic generative interfaces that future-proof manufacturing systems for emerging Generative AI capabilities.
